About Bactivate Microbial Soil Conditioner

Bactivate Microbial Soil Conditioner is an all natural, organic compound    containing 5 live strains of beneficial bacterial specifically for regenerating  soil back to its natural balance that will significantly improve soil composition and growing results.

The beneficial bacteria are

                                                     Bacillus megatherium

                                                     Bacillus mucilaginosus

                                                     Bacillus subtilus

                                                     Bacillus thurengiensis

                                                     Bacillus  licheniformis

Bacillus megatheriummobilises phosphate from soil minerals by producing organic acids and enzymes that solubilise non-available phosphates into available forms of phosphorous for the plant and thus increasing nutrition

Bacillus mucilaginosus – produce organic acids that release the available forms of potassium minerals and also produces exopolysaccahrides which can act as sorbents of heavy metal ions.

Bacillus subtilus – attacks fungal plant pathogens through nutrient competition, site exclusion, colonization and attaching to the fungal pathogen. It can induce the plant’s natural systemic resistance against pathogens and is a control agent against many leaf diseases. Also regarded as a microbial pesticide by forming a protective spore at times of nutritional stress allowing the organism to remain in the environment until conditions become more favourable.

Bacillus thurengiensis – produces crystalline proteins which are toxic by ingestion for a specific group of insects such as endoparasitic nematodes and ectoparacitic arthropods.

Bacillus  licheniformis – a biofertilizer with extensive colonisation and competitive capabilities to enhance plant growth and reduce plant disease

These beneficial bacteria (20 billion per KG!) are housed in coal dust granules with a number of trace elements.

The bacteria multiply around the root area and convert the soil nutrients so they can be easily taken up by the plant

As the beneficial bacteria become the dominant force around the root structure they rebalance the biological activity within the soil.

The beneficial bacteria secrete enzymes that enhance the availability of phosphate, potassium and other trace elements such as zinc, copper, vanadium manganese, silicon. They create new top soil by creating new organic material and reducing soil capillary pore to balance soil PH and reduce salinity.

Bactivate with activity of the beneficial bacteria will significantly improve soil quality and result in:
-  Improved quality, in terms of size, colour, shape, taste, texture and reduce wilt time
-  Increased yield
-  Increase soil moisture retention by up to 30%
-  Significantly reduce fertilizer, pesticide and herbicide usage thus reducing costs
-  Suppress plant and crop disease and pests thus increasing land values
-  Significantly reduce salinity

Bactivate can be applied by hand, with a super spreader, seed drill.......at the same time as fertilizer is applied or separately

 Application Rates

Application rate depends on the soil quality.

  - As a guide 150/300kg per hectare(60/120 kg per acre) for vegetables at planting time
  - For pasture, turf, broadacre crops 100/200kg per hectare(40/80 kg per acre)

Soil tests need to be carried out before the application rate is established.

Apply in the same manner as fertilizer

Apply organic and chemical fertilizers at a reduced rate depeding on soil condition

Over time the application rates will be reduced as the beneficial bacteria multiply and the soil regains its natural balance

Fertilizer, herbicides pesticide usage will be significantly reduced over time.

The benefits to the soil will be evident in a matter of weeks as the beneficial bacteria begin their work immediately and continue every hour of the day and night.

Bactivate Microbial Soil Conditioner can be used solely or in combination with other products to prevent plant and soil diseases and insects, increase the organic matter, increase the nutrient contents in the soil, decrease the utilization of chemical fertilizers, treat saline and alkaline lands, build soil structure and protect the environment.

The continuous development and application of Bactivate Microbial Soil Conditioner will influence the environment and society, and the economic value of crops.

About BactivatePlus

 Natural fertilizer/soil conditioner

BactivatePlus has been developed as a complete biological fertilizer. It is unique in it's ability to provide essential nutrients to the soil and to provide stimulation to the developing plant activity.

BactivatePlus is a natural microbial humate fertilizer, containing three natural beneficial soil bacteria within a humate base. The humate provides trace minerals, helps plants absorb existing nutrients in the soil, protects soil pH, improves soil structure and aids water retention. The micro organisms help supply natural organic matter and mineral nutrition to plants

Beneficial bacteria

The beneficial bacteria in BactivatePlus are:

Bacillus Subtilis - a ubiquitous soil microorganism that contributes to nutrient cycling when biologically active due to the various enzymes produced by members of the species. Bacillus subtilis is used as a fungicide on flower and ornamental seeds, and on agricultural seeds including seeds for cotton, vegetables, peanuts, and soybeans. The bacteria colonize the developing root system of the plant and thus compete with certain fungal diseases..

Bacillus Lichiniformis - a biofertilizer with extensive colonisation and competitive capabilities to enhance plant growth and reduce plant disease, bacillus licheniformus contributes to nutrient cycling and has antifungal activity, and has been shown by the USDA  to be effective in removing copper, chromium and arsenic from CCA-treated wood

Bacillus Mucilaginosus - is a potassium solubilizer.  In other words, it helps transform the potassium in the soil into a form that plants are able to readily absorb, thus reducing the need for chemical phosphate and potassium fertilizers.  It also assists in the degrading of organic chlorine residuals left over from the use of agricultural chemicals in the soil and has been shown able to produce exopolysaccahrides that can act as sorbents of heavy metal ions such as chromium (an important heavy metal pollutant).  It has also been claimed to have a role in the decomposition of mineral substances such as silicates, potassium and phosphorus in mica, feldspar and apatite. This is important in terms of the impact on soil structure, especially in areas where soil structure is comparatively low in organic material

The bacteria help convert nutrients that are available in BactivatePlus and the soil into usable plant foods. This in turn increases plant development and yield improvement, and the ability of these bacteria to control and reduce pests that are normally  associated with broad acre farming (cereal crops, grasses, fruit and vegetable crops and other) will be evident with continued use.

The Humate base

The Humate contains three different but important trace elements: humic acid, organic matter, and organic nitrogen.

The evolution of soils, more specifically the humus content, is of great interest both for the progress of crop production and for its future abilities to provide an environment for sustainable farming. The reserve of the organic matter is significantly important in maintaining soil fertility features. It also generates physical and chemical improvement, as it is a means of storing moisture and nutritional elements and acting as a protection agent against certain natural phenomena such as erosion.

Humates through cumulative effect, influence both the harvest and the evolution of organic matter in soil. Bactivate combined with its humate formula offer organic matter and humic acid levels that will encourage further development of these key areas in the soil structure.

 Application
